Able to read and write at a Grade 10 level;
Proven ability in food preparation, budgeting, supply and residential food services management;
Certification in Commercial Cooking/Institutional Food Preparation (ie. SIAST Woodland Campus Level 1) and/or three (3) years related experience;
Able to communicate, and relate well, with a variety of people and counsel clients in nutrition skills;
Knowledge of alcohol and drug addiction treatment and counselling is a definite asset;
Interest in, and ability to deal with, people experiencing problems related to alcohol, drugs and solvents;
Must be familiar with M.A.C.S.I. Policies and Procedures, and Code of Ethics, and implement properly;
Cree, Michif, Dene or second language an asset;
A current CPIC Security Clearance is mandatory;
Certification in St. Johns First Aid Course, and;
Valid drivers license and personal vehicle.
