Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years office experience with at least 6 months experience in payroll or similar position
- Demonstrated competence using Microsoft Software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Dynamics Great Plains
- Ability to organize and prioritize with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated professional discretion with confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive and cooperative team player attitude
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily entry, tracking and balancing employee hours
- Process payroll for Rem Enterprises and Rem Manufacturing
- Setup and input changes into benefits company reporting system as well as payroll accounting system
- Setup and maintain RRSP contributions
- Prepare month end payroll journal entries
- Reconcile monthly payroll related General Ledgers
- Prepare annual reports for internal and external use
