Description

MACSI is an affiliate of the Mtis Nation - Saskatchewan and is a non-profit corporation providing alcohol and drug recovery services and counselling programs to Saskatchewan residents.

The Secretary is an in-scope position and she/he will serve as the secretary and receptionist to the Regional Director and staff.  The Secretary is directly accountable to the Regional Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


    Minimum of two (2) years continuous sobriety/abstinence;
    Ability to read and write at GED 12 level;
    Certificate in Business Administration by a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of 5 years related training and experience;
    Extensive experience in office procedures, word processing and spread sheet programs and filing systems;
    Interest in, and ability to deal with people experiencing problems related to alcohol and drugs and solvents;
    Volunteer experience in one or more of the following is an asset; recreation, culture, nutrition, youth, life skills and /or community development;
    Excellent communication, interpersonal skills;
    Excellent knowledge of Metis and First Nations communities;
    Ability to speak Cree or Michif an asset;
    Ability to secure a current CPIC Security Clearance; and
    Hold a valid drivers license and ability to travel.
