Applications are invited for a Permanent Part Time (6 hrs/day) Library Clerk to work as part of a team providing support to the school library at Porcupine Plain Comprehensive School. This position will commence on August 29, 2013.
The primary responsibility of the position will be to continue the automated cataloguing and classification of the school's Resource Centre material onto the school division's library electronic database. Specific initial training will be provided to the successful candidate.
-Minimum requirement is high school graduation
-Formal training and/or previous experience in library environments would be considered an asset for the above-referenced position.
-Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing and databases is required.
-Be willing to join the Local CUPE 4875 union
