Role and Responsibilities:
-Diagnosis and Repair of cars, SUV and light duty trucks (gas and diesel)
-Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
-Perform scheduled maintenance
-Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer's performance specifications
-Repair and replace all parts of a vehicle
-Install optional equipment on new vehicles as specified by the customer or dealer
-Communicate with Service Advisors so customers can be informed of any additional service requirements
-Complete reports to record work performed
-Other duties, as required

Skills and Experience Required:
-Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade with college or industry courses in automotive technology
-Ford Diesel Certification or a commitment to obtain
-Commitment to continuous learning
-Be a team player with the ability to multitask as well as work independently
-A specialization in diesel repair is preferred
