Reporting to the Director of Health Information Services, the Manager of Health Records is responsible for delivery of Health Record services
for the Victoria Hospital. The incumbent ensures the delivery of these services is consistent with the policies, standards, legal requirements,
philosophy and mission of the Prince Albert Parkland Regional Health Authority. This position requires extensive leadership, collaboration
and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
-The incumbent shall be a graduate of a recognized diploma or baccalaureate program in Health Information Management (formerly
known as Health Record Administration).
-A member in good standing of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).
Affiliation with the Saskatchewan Health Information Management Association is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Demonstrated data analysis skills.
-Effective interpersonal, verbal
and written communication skills.
-An ability to build a team environment and lead the change process.
-Ability to make quick and accurate day-to-day decisions, demonstrating an innovative problem
solving approach.
-Minimum two year's experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
