Description

Position Overview:
With a high level view and understanding of business goals and objectives, the Controller will manage all accounting and reporting functions, including leading the monthly and annual financial close as well as issurance of internal / external financial reports to senior management.  Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.

Responsibility:
The controller is directly responsible to the CEO for proper delegation of daily duties.

Qualifications:
B.Comm / B. Admin. with a professional accounting designation.
10+ years of experience leading finance and acccounting teams.
A background in industrial / agricultural fabrication, construction and maintenance industries.
Ideal mix includes both senior - level public practice accounting and manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of Canadian ASPE.

Pension & benefits:
Starting at the 1st of 4 tiers with both the pension and benefit programs.   Set to commence following 3 month probation period.

Working Conditions:
Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. with overtime as required.
Based out of the Yorkton Administration office location.
Travel as required
On call work as required.
Primarily working at safety sensitive sites and envrionments which may be exposed to changing and extreme climatic conditions.  As required duties may call on some work to be performed in office environments.
