Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Driver Liaisons possess a minimum of grade 12 education with related training and/or experience on windows based applications. Transportation experience considered an asset, but strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills a must.
Provide instructions and answer questions from drivers
Ensure drivers that are off duty have been contacted to provide trip instructions for next on duty status, in the event driver can not be reached notify planner via white board
Communicate with drivers on any deviations with planned load, and order taker to notify customer, this includes all diversions and completion of necessary paperwork
Confirm times and ensure route points are correct in TMW
Communicate schedule requests to Operations Supervisor and Planners
Ensure that loading and offloading schedules that have been organized by the planners are maintained.
Communicate additional training requirements to appropriate Driver Support staff for drivers that have difficulty with Total Mail via e-mail with screen shot
Monthly salary starting at $2,720.00 plus a premium add-on for the night shift
Shift is a rotating 5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off from 6pm to 6am
