Administrator, Personal Trust (grade 1)
(Temporary position to December 2013, Part-time)
Key Outcomes:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the administration of Wills and Estates and to collaborate with the Unit by assisting with delivering timely, effective and efficient administration to the Department.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring Wills are administered according to procedures and posted service standards for accuracy and timeliness by:
Processing new Wills and closed Wills (including cancellations, deceased and renunciations)
Accurate keying of information and verifying of transactions on Trust, CIF and DIS
Supporting overall efficiency of department general administration by:
Checking obituaries online
Completing other projects as assigned
Supporting the department in enhancing the accuracy and efficient daily functioning of trust administration by:
Ensuring data systems are compliant with product needs
Identifying and bringing forward recommendations to change procedures for increased efficiency
Ensuring trust officers are informed of all risks and potential problems
