THE ORGANIZATION

THE POSITION
Working out of the Yellow Quill First Nation Health Centre office and working as part of a supervisory team, the CFS Protection Services Supervisor will be responsible for providing clinical/case supervision and a variety of supports to community based CFS Protection Workers as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure a high standard of professional service delivery occurs in accordance with The FSIN Child Welfare & Family Support Act and The Child & Family Services Act;
Provide case management support and direction to CFS Protection Workers located at the community level and in the central office as necessary and cover off for the others on the supervisory team as assigned;
Take a lead role in conducting staff reviews and evaluations as well as identifying training and professional development needs and opportunities;
Liaise with federal, provincial and First Nations government agencies for the transfer of cases to the STC CFS program (repatriation);
Assist with identification of potential community resources;
Assist, advise and support the development of community-based prevention programs and projects;
Ensure program policies and procedures are followed;
Establish, monitor and review contracts in order to provide in-home support to parents; and
Be willing to volunteer for a rotation of priority call back on a scheduled basis with other supervisory and program staff.
