Description

Facility: La Loche, Community Health Services

Salary: As per current SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement ($30.693/hr to $37.529/hr)

Hours of work:
112 hours in a 3 week rotation

Job Summary:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the direction of the Manager of Mental Health and Addictions Services, the Mental Health Therapist will provide individual and/or family counseling, group counseling, facilitating workshops, seminars and providing crisis intervention to youth, family and community members of the Keewatin Yatthe Health Region.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Social Work / Indian Social Work, or equivalent and eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers.  Job Description available on request. Some consideration may also be paid to individuals with an addiction counselor diploma and who are willing to take training in the area of mental health.
