Summer Recreation Programmer
Gordon Denny Community School

Duties:
>    Assist Recreation Coordinator with summer program planning
>    Assist with summer program promotion and preparing materials
>    Ensure all facilities and equipment are available, maintained and secure to ensure safe environment
>    Organize, implement, and manage recreation activities
>    Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:
>    Responsible and attentive to schedules, routines and procedures
>    Good communication, organizational and computer skills
>    Able to provide a warm welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security of the facility
>    Willing to become informed of school and community programs
>    Experience leading recreation programs and working with children, youth and adults
>    First Aid & CPR certification an asset
>    Position is ideal for individuals in education, physical education, recreation, social work, or similar programs

Hours: 35hrs/week (afternoons, evenings and weekends)
Rate of pay: $18.00/hr
Dates: May 6th until August 9th
