FACILITY/LOCATION: Battlefords Union Hospital

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Medical Imaging

CLASSIFICATION: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

STATUS: Temporary Full Time

End Date: September 2013 w/possible extension.

HOURS OF WORK: 8 hour shifts

RATE OF PAY: Step 1-$38.66, Step 2-$40.01, Step 3-$41.42 per
hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer diploma.

Certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical
Sonographers.

For Information purposes: 8 hours shifts, Monday through
Friday.

There is an expectation to provide ultrasound coverage in
Lloydminster Hospital MI dept as well as Meadow Lake Hospital
MI department, depending on available staffing to ensure
continual service at all sites.  When such coverage is necessary,
the incumbent will be compensated in accordance with the
Itinerant Movement LOU. Must have competencies in Abd/Small
parts and OB/Gyn.  Other specialties preferred but not essential.
