Description

Reporting to the Services Supervisor at McClean Lake, this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities include:  
-Providing support to general maintenance, including all facilities outside of the mill
-Performing all duties required, in a safe and efficient manner.
-Successfully complete training in the following areas: confined space entry, fall protection, lockout, WHIMIS, radiation.
-Upon successful completion of training, possess the skills and ability to independently operate and trouble shoot the utility area(s).
-Actively participate in weekly safety huddles.
-Main responsibilities will involve providing labour support for miscellaneous projects as assigned (painting, shovelling, washing equipment).


Efforts/Demands of the Position
-This position is physically demanding.
-Must work with other departments to keep everything running smoothly.
-Strive for minimum radiation exposures.


Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
-Preference will be given to Resident of Saskatchewan's North (RSN) candidates.
-Possess grade 12 or equivalent.
-Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
-Must be dependable and able to work independently.
-Previous mining, maintenance, or industrial experience is an asset.
-Must have good communication skills.
-Wage rate, determined as per the CBA.
-Must be attending school in the fall of 2013.


-Work Location & Schedule:  McClean Lake 7 in / 7 out - 77 hours/week
