The Portfolio Manager is accountable to perform ongoing comprehensive credit analysis (e.g., financials, margin position, account operation, etc.) on an assigned portfolio of accounts, assessing the overall financial health of the commercial entity, credit risk to the Bank and where changes have occurred use discretionary authority, within prescribed limits, to decision and/or provide timely advice to the account manager for action to address. The role is accountable to understand the different customer segments and strategies to support the Commercial sales teams (i.e., CAMs) in the management of their portfolio of accounts by providing accurate, effective, and efficient portfolio quality monitoring, identifying, correcting, and decisioning or advising of any deficiencies and exceptions, including recommendations to remedy, to ensure asset and credit quality are maintained at an acceptable level.
Customer segments supported are Independent Business, Small and Medium Enterprises, Mid Market and Corporate Finance.
High Complexity Portfolio
In depth level ability in: Risk Management, Business Acumen, Analytical Thinking, Financial Understanding.
Working level ability in: Business valuation, and Conflict Management & Resolution
Role Requirements: 1. Credit Qualified with Limits; 2. In-depth understanding of Commercial Products, Commercial Loan documentation, Commercial Lending Process & supporting processes; 3. In-depth understanding of all operational & monitoring Commerical Processes & supporting technology.
