Description

Operations Manager-Little Red River
The Operations Manager is the senior non-political executive officer of Little Red River Band Office. This position is responsible for developing & maintaining budgets, policies and strategies for the efficient & effective day-to-day operations of LRR programs and services.  This position requires extensive knowledge of the organizational, managerial and administrative functions of a First Nations organization.
The successful applicant will be required to establish effective working relationships with Employees, band members, other non-band agencies and corporations, different levels of government (federal, provincial & municipal governments, as well as the AFN, FSIN, PAGC & individual First Nations) & relevant stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ensure the preparation & presentation of LRR?s budgetary and planning requirements are carried out, including adequate procedures to ensure full accountability for the organization?s funding, contribution agreements, fiscal and human resources
-Ensure legal compliance with federal and provincial requirements
-Plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations in the delivery of programs and services
-Provide administrative leadership, supervision and support to LRR Employees, in accordance with the LLRIB Personnel Policy Manual
-Oversee all contractors & consultants & ensure work is completed in a timely process
-Develop & implement LRR Self-Administration policies & budgets to provide quality services to the community membership
-Seek funds for operations, projects and programs outside AANDC programs

Qualifications:
-Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Management Studies or related field
-Minimum 5 years management experience
-Computer skill are essential
-Strong oral and written communication, research and planning skills
-Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a small but focused team
-Must be role model to all Employees
-Vaild driver's license and reliable vehicle
