Description

Position Details:
Temporary Part Time Educational Assistant

Assignment:
3 hours per day

Term:
To commence immediately to June 26, 2013.

Qualifications:
Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
In accordance with Administrative Procedure 400  
Staff Recruitment and Selection, if the successful
candidate has not completed the appropriate
training, he or she will be required to enroll in
a Board approved post-secondary course related to
special education programs prior to the completion
of their probationary period.  Experience as an
educational assistant with special needs will be
considered an asset.

Duties:
Duties include supporting students with special
needs and other duties as outlined on our website
in Administrative Procedure 431  Duties and
Responsibilities of Educational Assistants.  

Salary & Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 4784
Collective Agreement (as listed on our website).
