YMCA of Regina Child Care is looking for a professional,
energetic, responsible, and committed person to join our team.
There will be a casual position available at our South and
Downtown locations. These locations provide care for
children aged 6 weeks to 6 years .
We have adopted the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
Through this curriculum, we are able to:
-Plan developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in
a play-based environment
-Participate in physical activities, including gym and swim
times
-Have child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment
and toys
-Teach children the values of caring, honesty, respect,
responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
Requirements:
-Must have ECE Equivalency of Level 1, 2, or 3 (or willing to
obtain).
-Related experience is an asset
-Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR C
-Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
-TB test

- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
