This job is located 18km NW of Saskatoon, therefore, a license is important but not necessary and we can supply vehicle for taking child around.
Busy Saskatoon acreage family requires a full time Live-In Caregiver for our one child; age 2 years old
Caregiver is required to live and work in our private home. We are offering prospective candidates a wage of $11.00 per hour for a 40 hour work week less $250.00 per month for the cost of room and board. Hours may vary slightly day to day, looking for someone who can be flexible. Private accommodations and bath provided. Start date negotiable, but preferably on or around the 15th of April, 2013
Must Enjoy Children! Must be non-smoking, fluent in English and be very energetic and outgoing, as our child loves to play & learn and is very active. Completion of high school and at least one year of experience with children and references for this work are required. Police record check required. First-Aid training would be an asset, but we are willing to enroll and pay for required training
Your duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervise and care for child
- Dress and feed child
- Prepare child for rest periods
- Organize activities such as games and outings for child
- Read to child
- Prepare craft materials and assist child to use them
- Prepare and serve nutritious snacks/meals
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Tend to emotional well-being of child
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
We also have 2 friendly dogs and a cat that like a lot of attention, so candidates must like dogs and cats, and not have any allergies
