Thank you.
Wiggle Worm Learning Ltd. operates Kindermusik with Tami & Friends. We are seeking a early childhood professional to commence training in order to begin teaching Kindermusik classes for our 2013-14 Class Year.
The successful applicant will 1) be an early childhood education professional (via experience and/or education), 2) have an interest in music for young children, 3) have a clean criminal record background, 4) have their own transportation and 5) be willing to undertake the Kindermusik International University training program (99% online).
Interested parties should note that a great many hours go into preparing to teach classes. There is an ongoing expectation that your behaviour both in class and in the community reflect that of a professional who works with children and their families. We can discuss your scheduling needs and expectations - however, please note that we are seeking an individual who is able to work on Saturdays, Mondays, and Fridays - daytimes and/or early evenings. The other days of the week may be scheduled as well - depending on the needs of our community and your own personal needs.
Our studio is currently located in North Regina (Lakewood). The educator is responsible for paying their own monthly licensing costs ($15/month) and paying for own initial Kindermusik training ($200). We reward our educators with a signing bonus (to assist in the initial training costs) and an annual bonus (to assist in the monthly licensing costs), and our wage is $30/class.
Coming Fall 2013: Wiggle Worm is expanding into Baby Signs. Any interested person should be aware that a few of our educators (not all) will also be licensed to teacher Baby Signs curricula. We can discuss this new venture further.
