Description
Melfort group home requires a casual attendant to
care for 6 adults with intellectual and physical
disabilities. The successful candidate will be
responsible for providing personal care to
residents, housekeeping, social outings and
recreational activities in a home like atmosphere.
Must be able to work independantly as well as
collaboratively, have good written and oral
communication skills, organizational skills,
decision making ability and problem solving
skills. Applicants must be willing to work day,
evening, night or weekend shifts and be available
for call-in.
Applicants must submit a criminal record check,
have a valid class 5 drivers license with clean
drivers abstract. Related experience would be
considered an asset, but employer is also willing
to train.
This job is only open to Canadians, Permanent
residents or people in Canada under the Care Giver
Program. A criminal record check including a
vulnerable persons child abuse registry check must
accompany all applications.
