Description

Transcona Park Child Care Co-op is currently looking for 1 full time employee to provide care for children 18 months to 12 years of age. Transcona Park Child Care is a government licensed and subsidized child care centre.

Early Childhood Educator responsibilities include providing quality care for children in a loving and nurturing environment and implementing developmentally and age appropriate programming on a daily basis. Applicants must be willing to work independently or in a team environment.

Applicants must have:
ECE Level 1, 2 or 3
Valid First Aid and Level C CPR
Criminal Record Check in the vulnerable sector
Tuberculosis Test

Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of child development
Knowledge of regulations governing licensed child care centres
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of developmentally and age appropriate programming
Ability to provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
Dependable and punctual
