CLASSIFICATION: Public Health Nurse Nurse B
STATUS: Temporary Full Time
HOURS OF WORK: 8 hours shifts; Field Hours
RATE OF PAY: As per SAHO/SUN Collective Agreement - ($37.33 - $46.56/hour)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
A degree in nursing from a recognized university with course credits in Public Health Nursing.
Registered or eligible to be registered with SRNA.
Knowledge and ability to apply community health nursing theory and principles.
Candidates with a minimum of 3 years recent, satisfactory performance as a PHN is preferable.
Maintenance of required competencies related to management of anaphylaxis and immunization.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible
END DATE: March 4, 2014
Package offered to individuals who have completed training and have not received a Regional Bursary:
1) $2,500 recruitment grant with an one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service
commitment; and
2) Up to $2,500 for relocation, with receipts, for an additional one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service commitment.
