The City of Weyburn is a dynamic and progressive municipality located in the heart of Southeast Saskatchewan. The City has a population of over 11,000 and a solid economic and community foundation upon which new opportunities are continuously built.
The Leisure Services Department has an immediate requirement for a part-time Studio Monitor position which is located at the Signal Hill Arts Centre. The applicant must be prepared to assist with all aspects of office routine and supervision of the Signal Hill Arts Centre.
The applicant must be available to work occasional evenings with increased opportunity for additional hours on weekends to accommodate the various programs & services offered at the centre.
-Provide the public with information and direction about programs and services at the Centre and other programs within the Leisure Services Dept.
-Booking and setting up for events at the centre
-Taking registrations, collecting fees and preparing cash reports for various programs/events
-Building supervision (Sept - June)
-Greeting patrons, answering phones, computer work
-Ability to work under direction, as well as perform duties with some autonomy
-Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Arts & Culture Director
The successful candidate must have superior customer service experience; a minimum Gr. 12 education or equivalent; as well as excellent oral & written communication skills. Computer knowledge would be considered an asset for this position.
