Description

This role works with employers to develop and coordinate employment opportunities for people with employment barriers by educating others of the benefits of a diverse workforce.  As well, this role will be responsible for developing participant specific employment opportunities for a small caseload of job seekers.  Duties include:
-Initiate, build and maintain positive relationships with business owners, human resource professionals, and hiring managers in order to understand their business and hiring needs
-Anticipate needs of employers and recognize the fundamentals of business success in order to successfully market job seekers to employers ensuring a mutual benefit to both
-Work with a small caseload of job seekers to develop employment opportunities that are specific to theirs skills, abilities and workplace values, this may include job carving, and job bundling
-Provide on site support to meet the needs of new employees and their employers this may include the development of workplace strategies, facilitating natural supports and recommending workplace accommodations
-Work within a team environment to ensure job seekers, employers and organizational needs are met
-Record, analyze, evaluate and report various information as it pertains to job seeker information, employer contacts and labour market trends in a professional manner
Qualifications:
-Degree in Human Services or Business and two years related experience  
-Understanding  of issues pertaining to education, training and employment that people with disabilities and employment barriers may encounter
-Demonstrated ability to think 'outside the box' and to effectively develop and promote new ideas, concepts and strategies
-Ability to express and formulate ideas and information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing
-Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License
