The MS Society of Canada, Saskatchewan Division is seeking an individual to organize the Saskatchewan Blue Cross MS Walk in Weyburn.

The MS Walk is one of the largest and most successful fundraising events in Canada. Last year over 2,700 people participated in Saskatchewan, raising more than $707,000!

Term:    January  July 2012 (contract)

Duties include, but are not limited to:    

    Local sponsorship recruitment
    Local promotion of WALK
    Walker recruitment & management
    Participant communication (email, newsletters, incentives)
    Day of responsibilities: setting up WALK route, food, volunteer recruitment
    Prize ordering & distribution
    Event reporting throughout term

The successful candidate will be provided training, resources and support.
