Dowland is a dynamic and growing construction company with many opportunities across the country in the Building, Infrastructure, Industrial and Resource sectors.
We are seeking a Journeyman Ironworker for our Rocanville, SK industrial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and specifications to lay out the work
Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Attach cables from a crane or derrick and direct crane operators with hand signals or radios
Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move pipe and heavy equipment
Requirements
Must have a Journeyman Ironworker certificate from a recognized provincial training authority.
Be self motivated and organized
Good mathematical and reading skills
Above average analytical skills with a good work ethic.
Be comfortable working in a team environment
Must possess a WHIMIS or CSTS (Construction Safety Training Systems) ticket taken within the last year
Experience working in industrial construction considered an asset

Camp accommodation provided
Rotation of 20 days in, 8 days out
10 hour work day
Benefits provided by CLAC including 6% of your gross towards a RSP
Travel allowance dependant on province of residence
Transportation to/from Regina airport for out of province employees
