Wee Care Preschool is accepting applications for the position of Teacher. Employment commences immediately. Ideal applicants will have education and experience in child care with a minimum diploma in ECE/ECD, and current first aid and CPR training. The present curriculum consists of two 3.5 hour preschool classes per week.
Additional Skills
- Use computer applications
- Supervise teacher assistants
Specific Skills
- Teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops
- Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness
- Identify childrens' individual learning needs
- Evaluate the progress of students and discuss progress results with students, parents and school officials
