CLASSIFICATION: Health Educator

STATUS: Temporary Full Time

HOURS OF WORK: As per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement Field Hours Provision

RATE OF PAY: As per SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement ($31.665  $38.718/ hr)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Health/Social Sciences; understanding of workflow within a PHC setting; demonstrated team development and facilitation skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills for individuals, small and large group interactions. Ability to develop and maintain systems and processes to support primary health care teams; proficient in computer software programs (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Internet); ability to learn and use MedAccess; A key component of this position is to integrate and support the PHC providers in the use of an eMR (MedAccess) in the region.
