Description

Main Duties
Reporting to the Executive Chef and under the supervision of the Sous Chef, this position delivers quality, value priced dining, by cooking food to meet restaurant, catering and deli needs.
Responsibilities include: Seasoning and cooking food in a wide variety of preparations. Carrying out general cleaning and kitchen maintenance. Strictly following established processes and standards for safe food production and handling. Working effectively as part of a team, to ensure the safe and efficient preparation of food. Handling other related tasks as required, to produce quality meals for Casino guests.

Education
Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience. Successful completion of
Food Safe Handling Certificate.
Experience working is a commercial kitchen would be preferred.
Experience working with diverse situations and personalities.
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
Working knowledge of food and beverage operations.

Condition of Employment
You will work Irregular hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee
Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)
Must be 19 years of age or older
