Description

The La Ronge Medical Clinic, a University-affiliated eleven-physician medical practice, requires the services of a medical office assistant. This is a full-time term position, 35 hours per week,for one year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of medical office-related duties. He/she will receive training as a clinical assistant and in other clinic positions in order to provide support to the staff as needed, and perform other administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education with previous office experience. Keen attention to accuracy and detail, computer skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to learn quickly and to work efficiently is essential. Excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to enhance the existing administrative team is required. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience in a medical setting would be assets.

This is an out-of-scope position, maternity leave replacement, for a term of one year. Depending on qualifications, the salary is $2,876 to $3,098 per month plus benefits.
