Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include instruction and assistance to students to obtain their GED while working towards a career in trades and apprenticeship; the individual will assist students to find employment on trades and /or industry; to provide advice and mentorship to students in career guidance and facilitate classroom learning by introducing students to a variety of recognized Saskatchewan trades occupations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have certification in and /or a background in multiple trades and have a minimum for 3 years experience in each trade that is identified as background in. Experience and a background in the trades is a requirement of the position. Knowledge of or working experience in industry (at a trades level) would be a distinct asset. Good interpersonal skills and communication skill, flexibility and the ability to work with people from various equity groups are required. The ability to instruct basic trades skill in a variety of trades would be a distinct asset.
