Description

Reporting to the Director of Health & Safety, this out-of-scope position assists in the development and delivery of regional orientation, and OH&S-related staff training and educational programs.  This position is located in North Battleford.  

The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:
Experience in the healthcare field.
A degree or diploma in a healthcare or education-related field is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to apply principles of adult learning and teaching strategies.
Develops, implements, facilitates and evaluates a comprehensive regional orientation program and any additional training programs as required (for example TLR, WHMIS, Violence Prevention Training, and Customer Service Engagement).
Must have an understanding and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A good working knowledge of applicable computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office).

The position is a part-time position that requires travel within the Region and the ability to flex workday hours to accommodate program delivery.  

Salary and benefits are in accordance with Out-of-Scope Management Compensation Plan.
