Description
This position will be responsible for performing technical reviews of engineering designs and their execution alongside the traditional engineering technical disciplines, to ensure that environmental requirements especially regarding operational processes are adequately addressed as part of the project design and implementation.
The successful candidate will:
*Support construction activities which include piping, stainless steel and others, pipeline installation, tie ins, well site services, building construction, civil construction
*Work with the Production, Maintenance and Capital departments to support their requirements
*Provide drawing review, mark ups and general crew supervision
*Provide the engineering group with feedback on quality of design and way to continuously improve
*Liaise with the Quality Control and Assurance Department to coordinate inspections
*Provide support for wellfield drilling program (minor maintenance and setup assistance)
*Ensure training and certification of crew members and contractors as required
We require the following qualifications for this role:
*10+ years working experience in an industrial setting
*Journeyperson status in a related trade required
*Construction experience
*Trade supervision experience
*Pipeline experience an asset
*Civil construction, hoisting and rigging experience
*Ability to read drawings (P&IDs, Isometrics, GAs)
*Strong communication and leadership skills
*Strong working knowledge of MS Office
