To further the objectives of three construction
related companies by exploring and acting upon
business opportunities. As the Business
Development Specialist you should be able to
properly and professionally interact with
potential clients and customers to determine their
necessities. You will pursue business leads,
network effectively with potential clients and
close sales in the areas Vacuum Truck Sales,
Housing Development Sales including renovations
and alterations and the sales of other related
products and services, Plumbing, Heating and
Electrical sales, and concrete foundations and
driveway sales
Duties and responsibilities:
Implement new sales strategies and ensure that
strategies are implemented in order to increase
business awareness and sales.
A willingness to attract and maintain business
relationships.
Facilitate, negotiate and maintain all contracts
related to upcoming and current projects.
Oversee the creation of project proposal and
responsible for the profitability of the project.
Initiate projections for viability of projects or
new product entries.
Continuously develop knowledge and information
about products, competitor activity, pricing and
communicate this in a professional manner to
relevant department.
Keep current with projects, products and services
with support from supplier.
Ordering of stock and special order merchandise
as required
Manage budgets, competitive price guide lines,
negotiations as per company procedures.
Assist with other administrative tasks within the
office as required in order to learn about the
company and the industry.
