Description

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Professional Practice Division, including leading the strategic and operational aspects of the branch?s involvement in the Pharmaceutical Information Program (PIP).  Also, you will lead negotiations with a wide range of health care providers and foster cooperative and supportive relationships in order to meet program objectives and advance enhanced scope of practice initiatives.

You will have the ability to effectively manage multi-disciplinary staff.  Your strong interpersonal skills and your capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of external stakeholders are essential in representing the Ministry.  You will be independent and extremely organized in order to handle a wide variety of issues simultaneously.
