Tyco International of Canada Ltd/ SimplexGrinnell is currently recruiting an INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining executive level relationships in concert with our First Nations commitments to develop and sustain commercial and industrial business opportunities while leading a group of dedicated Sales Professionals.

JOB DESCRIPTION
-Manage all sales activities for the district.
-Develop business plans, recruit key personnel and implement marketing plans and strategies to capture market share.
-Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
-Direct channel development or vertical markets, and coordinate sales by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
-Analyze sales statistics to formulate tactical sales strategies.
-Meet with key clients to assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
-Continuously monitor the sales growth plan vs. budget, sales plan target objectives, revenue growth performance and increased market share growth.
-Ensure that the corporate sales philosophy is executed in securing quality business approved contractual terms, and profitable pricing practices.
-Capable of profit and loss responsibility for an organization through setting financial goals and creating and managing budgets.
-Strong project management background. Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, and budget.
-Effective managing in a changing environment. Skills include leadership, planning, developing policies, delegation, and tracking performance against measurable goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
-BA in business or associated discipline (marketing or engineering preferred).
-Have a minimum of 8 years in the fire protection or related construction business as sales professional.
-Minimum of 3 years sales management experience preferred.
-Have a valid driver's license.
