STATUS OF POSITION:Temporary Part Time to January 7, 2014
AVAILABLE HOURS:FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES
ONLY: 56 hours in a 6 week rotation; shifts may include weekend rotation.
The incumbent of this position will be responsible for development of educational sessions specific to their area of clinical focus, delivery of all clinical education and reporting for assigned PHSA. Applicants selected for an interview will be requested to present a 10 minute educational session on a topic of choice related to the CNE portfolio Acute Emerge/Surgical/Med-Surg.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, Master level preferred or suitable combination of education and experience.
Requires a minimum of 3 years recent experience in Acute Care
Preference will be given to applicant:with 1 year recent experience in adult education and training/experience in Emergency and/or Surgical Care and/or Med-Surg. Care
Previous experience in nursing education is desirable
Current SRNA registration
Demonstrated the ability to work in a collaborative, consultative manner
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills
Require average computer skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
Ability to research best practices, as well as apply and educate research to clinical practices
Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change
Requires experience in educational program/resource development related to clinical program design, implementation and evaluation, teaching, facilitating and leading group activities.
Possess a valid drivers license and have access to a reliable vehicle
