Description
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Confidential Secretary provides confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director and other administrative staff. In addition, this position supervises designated staff and is responsible for maintaining central office files, processing computer payroll, ordering supplies and arranging for building maintenance and repairs.
This position is casual to cover the current Confidential Secretary's vacations, unplanned absences and for extra coverage during busy times of the year.
Knowledge of co-operatives and working in unionized environments are assets. Previous supervisory experience is desired. The ability to multi-task and effectively communicate with others is esssential. Strict confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
