Description

This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible, working with the current foreman and learning all aspects of municipal road maintenance and supervision.

-experience in a municipal environment a definite asset
-working knowledge of road maintenance and construction, equipment operation and a basic mechanical aptitude
-grader and/or utility equipment operator experience
-1A license an asset
-chemical sprayer (industrial vegetation) license an asset

Must be a self-starter, able to work within a team and independently and hold a valid class 5 drivers license.  Safety certifications on grader and equipment a definite asset.

Daily activities may include, but are not limited to: all aspects of road maintenance and repair; maintenance and repair of equipment; inventory control and parts sourcing; scheduling and other duties as required.
