Reporting to Customer Service Team Lead, the Customer Service Representatives key responsibilities will include maintaining and strengthening the relationship with current and past subscribers of the Leader-Post by placing outbound service calls, assisting with customer service and carrier inquiries, providing administrative support and dispatching missed deliveries.
This is an immediate part time opportunity in the Reader Sales and Service Department, offering 15-28 hours per week. Shifts are primarily Monday Friday with a varied daytime and early evening schedule. Applicants who apply must have open daytime availability for Monday Friday from 5:30am-5:00pm inclusive and Saturday from 5:30am-12:30pm. Some flexibility may be available and student schedules can be accomodated.
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer service driven specialist who is capable of prioritizing a high volume of work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing priorities.
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate a professional telephone manner and a thorough understanding and appreciation for the importance of customer service;
Work well within a team environment, with a comfort level for working independently as required;
Possess excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy;
Demonstrate an enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace change;
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software;
Experience with computerized database systems is an asset.
