Description

Responsibilities:
    Lead HSEC on site
    Meet the applicable BHPB GLD requirements
    Execution Scope leadership & management
    Oversight of local Procurement management
    Local Contract administration input
    Time and cost reporting
    Risk management & mitigation
    Quality management
    Constructability reviews during design development
    Prepare daily/weekly/monthly report on construction management and contractors and submit to Project Manager
    Monitor and audit site compliance with statutory and safety requirements
    Implement change management to the Contractor; includes variations/extension of time identification and assessment
    Hold regular meetings with client representatives and contractors about site-related construction issues
    Direction of construction management staff, including safety staff
    Management of Inspection, handover and commission procedures for construction packages
    Organise and conduct site progress review meetings for contract packages
    Ensuring contractor compliance with commissioning procedures
    Establish process for handover of documentation, facilities and equipment
    Interface with plant commissioning and handover
    Management of inspection, handover and commission procedures for construction packages
    Organise pre-start construction meeting
    Client update progress
    Site progress reporting against the project schedule
    Provide leadership/assistance to the Construction Management team to foster abilities of existing staff
    Drive business capability development by reviewing and providing recommendations on current business procedures
Qualifications:
    University Degree (preferred) or any relevant experience in a similar/senior role;
    Minimum 25 years of experience in the heavy process industries;
    International experience (preferred);
    Considerable knowledge of principles and theories of field of work;
    Management/leadership experience (preferred).
