FACILITY/LOCATION: Battlefords Union Hospital

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Operating Room

CLASSIFICATION: Nurse A

STATUS: Permanent Full Time

HOURS OF WORK: 8 hour shifts

RATE OF PAY: As per SAHO/SUN Collective Agreement ($34.25  $44.46/hour)
      
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Must be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association.

Completion of an Operating Room Nursing and Techniques Program or an equivalent operating room course is required.

Should the employer be unable to recruit a qualified applicant, other applicants who are presently enrolled in the above named programs may be considered.

Should the employer be unable to recruit a qualified applicant or an applicant presently enrolled, other applicants who would be willing to obtain the required qualifications, may be considered.

For Information purposes:

Normal hours of work: 8 hour shifts  Monday  Friday; 0715-1545 Monday to Friday with a late shift  0915  1745 and stand by rotation.

ANTICIPATED START DATE: March 1, 2013

Package offered to individuals who have completed training and have not received a Regional Bursary:
1) $2,500 recruitment grant with an one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service
commitment; and
2) Up to $2,500 for relocation, with receipts, for an additional one year (1,950 hours worked) return for service commitment.
