Looking for a qualified Live-In Caregiver for an elderly lady with diabetes, hearing loss and some mobility issues. Caregiver will be required to assist with day to day activities, personal care and hygiene, social support, prepare and serve nutritious meals, light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment. Some lifting and driving may be required. Private accomodations in the house are provided. Room and board will be deducted from wages earned. Must be in good health and bondable. A Criminal Record Check is required. 40-44 hrs per week. Particularly interested in applicants who are already registered with the LCP Caregiver program in Canada, though this is not a requirement.
Education: Completion of High School and additional related training/some college and/or university would be welcomed with the following credentials preferred: diploma or equivalent plus training/certification in caregiver field
Experience: Some experience working with the elderly in home or institutional setting. Interviews will be ongoing until a candidate is hired.
