Primary Health Care (PHC) is a delivery model that utilizes integrated, interdisciplinary teams of health professionals and community members to provide high quality service as close to home as possible, at the most appropriate time, by the most appropriate person.  Under the direction of the Director of Primary Health Care, the Primary Health Care Team Manager is accountable for the PHC team members in the Lloydminster and surrounding area. This position provides leadership in team building, clinical excellence and interdisciplinary team practice.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Must have a Degree in a Health Sciences related discipline.

Demonstrated management, leadership and/or supervisory experience are required.

A comprehensive understanding of the role of an inter-disciplinary team in the delivery of Primary Health Care services.

Strong facilitation skills with an emphasis on team development; an effective change agent who is a team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with computer software (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).

A valid drivers license required.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Out-of-Scope Management Compensation Plan.
