The Opportunity: The EO/Laborer I is responsible to perform basic labor tasks, including the use of hand tools, and operating power equipment (non-driver). For the Industrial Service Group operates one or more of the following units: Wet Vac Straight Truck; Tank Truck Straight Truck; Water Truck; Steam Truck Straight Truck; and/or Maintenance Truck.
Key Responsibilities: Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. Performs basic labor tasks using hand tools (e.g. pipe wrench, hammer, shovel, rake, vacuum hose, pressure washer and steamer wands) and operates power equipment (non-driver). Responsible for the safe operation of equipment.
Assists operators with all job duties including but not limited to: pre and post trip inspections; performing field level risk assessments; setting up equipment, ensuring proper usage of equipment, performing general duties required to complete work, (debris removal, clean-up, set-up, etc.). Completes yard related duties including but not limited to: working in the wash bay; general clean-up and maintenance of the yard; and hot shot service. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
