Description
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read, understand, and follow cleaning product labels
- Ability to follow janitorial checklists and maintain a clean working environment
- Ability to maintain cleaning supply list
- Good attention to detail
- Must be quality, safety, and results oriented
- Previous cleaning and maintenance experience is an asset
- Positive and co-operative team player
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Interior painting
- Yard maintenance
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, offices and stairs
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Water and tend to plants
- Assist moving heavy furniture, equipment and supplies from time-to-time
