Temporary Job Share (Dec. 1, 2012 to May 31, 2014) Clinical Improvement Facilitator in Professional Practice.
Job Summary
The Clinical Improvement Facilitator works under the administrative supervision of the Director of Professional Practice. . As a member of the Professional Practice team, with the goal of improving quality and safety for patients, clients and residents of the Sunrise Health Region, the Clinical Improvement Facilitator is accountable for the development and implementation of patient safety and improvement processes and projects in a regional collaborative practice environment. The Clinical Improvement Facilitator is a leader, educator, facilitator, motivator and coordinator of quality improvement programs and initiatives implemented by the region?s clinical staff and departments.
This role will be specifically responsible for the implementation of the clinical aspects of Accreditation Canada?s Required Organizational Practices (i.e Medication Reconciliation), development & implementation of initiatives to support the regional pursuit of a patient safety culture, facilitating the clinical aspects of the Releasing Time to care Program and providing clinical quality improvement education.
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in Nursing required
Current registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
Requires a minimum of three to five years nursing experience.
Experience with continuous quality improvement methodology and tools (including Lean), change management and project management preferred.
Experience in developing programs and resources for staff and clients required.
Experience in group facilitation, design and delivery of clinical educational programming required.
Demonstrated advanced computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel and Power Point).
Hours of Work:
2 shifts of 8 hours in a 3 week rotation
Days/with the exception of stat holidays
