Description

The Greeting Cards Merchandiser contributes to MCAs success by providing exceptional results-driven service to both chain and independent retailers. Reporting to the Territory Field Supervisor, the Merchandiser maintains all aspects of the Hallmark Greeting Card department and develops and maintains strong store level communication links to facilitate flawless and timely program execution, and delivers ultimate retailer satisfaction

Position Specifications:
- generate and display reorders of all Everyday card and non-card products to maintain full counter displays
- display seasonal cards for all occasions, and complete credits and returns, where applicable
- create and maintain seasonal/promotional End of Aisle displays, where applicable  
- maintain regular and timely communication with your Territory Field Supervisor regarding your accounts
- complete your scheduled calls in a timely and efficient manner
- maximize retail sales and presence
- maximize point of purchase (POP) advantage
- ability to read and implement planograms
- set-up and take down seasonal displays
- maintain optimum inventory levels in all chain accounts in your territory
- execute Head Office and Client Directives accordingly
- implement both new, and changes to, planograms
- work with a team to revise displays
- provide store set-ups and planogram maintenance
- enter program specific information on our MCA website within 24 hours of call


What we need from you:
- merchandising or retail experience is an asset
- planogram experience (we will train)
- home based computer with internet access or daily access to internet
- digital camera or access to one
- ability to lift 20-40 lbs
- drivers license and access to an insured motor vehicle
- flexibility as the workload could increase during certain seasons
- excellent planning and time management
- attention to detail
