The Account Manager is responsible for calling on large distributors and is accountable for driving growth at those distributors. Covering all of Sask., ability to travel is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain relationships with key distributor personnel.
uild customer business plans with strategies to sustain growth. Present business plans to senior management at customer level. Track and monitor progress against key strategic activities. Develop revenue calls, forecasting & planning on a weekly and quarterly basis. Track customer programs. Update and communicate to customer on a weekly basis. Provide clear communication and linkage with all distributor sales personnel. Work closely with Distributor Sale Director(s), DMs/Reps to sell in our products at the operator level. Develop and provide training and product knowledge to Sales Reps. Prepare, present & track quarterly Business Reviews that outline issues & opportunities. Track and monitor progress against agreed upon commitments. Execute all pricing action activities as planned. Monitor and track all operator contracts via the distribuTor. Manage all trade spending activities to ensure maximum ROI Negotiate annual marketing activity calendar. Track and monitor progress to ensure maximize ROI. Present & Promote National Promotions. Present all new product launches and obtain distributor management support. Maintain accurate CPS/CPRO data at all times. Track customer accounts receivable, provide updates to customer and course correct when necessary. Conduct customer business reviews
QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires a sales professional with experience & knowledge of Foodservice products, programs and policies to be able to negotiate programming. University Degree is an asset. Company car provided upon submission of satisfactory driver's abstract.
